Seriously? How do you think we looked when we played on Thursday night? I bet yolkals all over the country said "Clemson barely beat NC State? I'm not impressed." Good Lord fellas, come on. NEWSFLASH: NC State isn't a very good football team.
I, for one, am excited about having them in the ACC. My only concern is do they have the will and the pockets to keep Charlie Strong.

They will be one of, if not the richest, programs in the ACC.

We were on the road and Louisville was at home.
That's a big difference and even more different on a Thursday night.

we played NCST on the road in a game that Tajh and the offense was easily noticeably off the stride. UL was at home against a bad Rutgers team. Tajh was being pressured early and often which lead to him being out of groove until the second half. Bridgewater didn't really see that kind of pressure last night, he was just missing some throws without a lot of pressure.
That's how I see it but in the end I do like that they are coming to the ACC. Great FB and BB teams and their other sports teams aren't bad either.

I just hope they don't join the conference and turn into a pile of donkey dung like Miami did...they are just now starting to become a formidable team!!! You have to figure Bridgewater will be gone and a good possibility that Strong will as well.

season. I still think they're a top-15 team, but they needed to do a lot more last night in order to make a case for being a top-5 team in the human polls.
At the end of the day, Louisville is irrelevant this season even when they go undefeated. Their SOS will keep their computer ranking in the double digits all season.

I'd say there's a good chance they'll keep him as long as he's winning.

Louisville is an upgrade over Maryland, but

I don't see their football program staying consistently good. If a bigger name school offers Strong he is likely gone. They are also the benefit of a joke schedule.
Last year what their athletic programs accomplished may never be done by any school again. They were the first school in NCAA history to reach the final four, a BCS bowl, and Omaha in the same year. On top of that their women's basketball team made the final four, and their men's soccer team made the elite eight.
But like I said, I can see their basketball program staying up there, but not their football team.
