Not 1 STOP after a score

Its unreal how we gave up a score after every single score we had yesterday. Not one single time could the defense get a stop after a score, we just couldn't get the ball back down 1 possession. That's just embarrassing for Allen and these overrated so-called NFL players on this defense

That's what killed me. Every time the offense did their job and scored, I'd think "that ought to motivate the defense! We're in this!", and then they would just lay down and let the other team score. Gut-wrenching to watch.

They didn't lay down. They're just simply not that good.

Lots of good teams give up points but they still win.

Was the defense bad? Yes. Was the offense worse? Yes. Several really good teams yesterday gave up points but still won. Even under BV we gave up some points but the O would score 45.
We played one of the worst defenses in CFB yesterday and constantly went 3 and out.

Regardless, thats not an excuse to give up a score every single time we score. Our defense should not be that bad, this defense should be giving up 20 or less, not 30+

we gave up 31, 31, and 48. We also gave up 49 in a loss to FSU. The same thing is true for most of those years. We won alot of big games while giving up 30+.
The D certainly isn't good right now, but the offensive has consistently been the BIGGER problem over the previous 5 seasons.

the Stangs were going to go airborne, and we had to be prepared to stop the aerial attack. We didn't, and that made me question both the lack of prep and execution.
The fact was/is that has been a great weakness for some time, and our opponents know it. Thus, it begs the question: who on our staff is responsible? It might be easy to name a particular person, but the deficiency is so glaring that the entire defensive staff ought to be all over it like white on rice.
