THAT is exactly why Dabo does not want "committed" recruits to continue to take visits. A recruit is entitled to take all the visits he wants, but, if you're gonna actually commit to a school, then that should be the end of the process. A "commitment" ain't worth the time it takes to click a computer button if the recruit keeps on checking out other schools, just as in this case.

If those players committed elsewhere are still willing to make other visits... they're not committed by Dabo's definition

Because other schools don’t stop their players from continuing to visit other schools.

I use to question the same but there is a difference.

Committed to Clemson and want to take other visits then de-commit.

Committed to another school and want to visit Clemson … you are a de-commit at that point.

Better than his star rating!

Pitt has a reputation for putting CB in the league.

Looking at his video; I think he is better than his star rating. We'll see won't we.

I still find it a bit funny when people get all caught up on star ratings on these players. As if the people who apply them to players have seen AAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLL the kids to properly evaluate AAAAALLLLLL of them! If it was based on just that; then give Alabama or whoever has the best composite rating the trophy each year, right?
Thankfully, it doesn't work like that.

I know we need some ready to play 4 and 5-star players too! No doubt.
But, if you have time to put that player around those higher rated players(if they are indeed better) if that player has a high ceiling and is willing to work! You end up with an outstanding player! Clemson has done a tremendous job with developing lower rated players; and I think we just got another one that is going to out perform their rating!
