First of all those boys think they are gonna whoop us 😂. They don't have a clue.

One Guy said that Jerimiah Alexander is "-leader on the team. “This is his year.” I don't know where he determined that.

They think that they will run hurry up and toast our defense all day. "Tubby Tom Allen" is their name for our DC. They think our defense is still weak. One Guy made the comment that a new defensive coordinator can't make a bad defense good in a year. They don't understand how bad wes was and that we have most of our defense returning.

They also think our O-Line is weak but they do not deny that Cade should be able to move the ball.

Overall They think they have better players, a better coach, and more depth.
I think our players are better and I know that Dabo is a better coach, We have good depth too. They think that there 20 transfers are going to instantly mesh better than our 3rd and 4th year returners.

I will say that I have seen a few comments that are skeptical of the other droppings comments and think that this will be a close game. Regardless, these fellas are mostly clueless about our team and may be surprised on Saturday.

Do you remember that time we got all excited about the new great offensive coordinator? I do, and that's why we should be nervous about the defense.

And you do understand it’s significantly more complicated to install an offense than it is defense, right?

Tom Allen will fix the crack in the ###. That’s all he needs to do. He will do that and a lot more.

Don’t know for sure if it will show up game 1 in full, but he will immensely improve the defense this season.

They think our defense is the same as it was just based on returning players. They don’t realize Woods was out of position and injured from game 2 on. Our DL will be night and day difference with him and Capehart healthy and back inside and with heldt out on the edge.

Haha wow it’s like they are irrational devotees of their team…some might even call them “fans” or “fanatics”

Surely no one on thhis objectively neutral and unbiased message board called “Tigernet” would have similar feelings about their favored team!!

You would see it's different.

I didn't read a single post saying we could win or that there's a reason we're favored.

I DID read a lot of speculation (as the OP pointed about) by people who know absolutely nothing about Clemson.

So yeah, they're fans and we're fans. Their fans are just more ignorant, apparently.

To be fair, most fanbases including ours have no idea about other team’s rosters. For example, everyone wants to discount Alabama. On paper they have the most talented roster in the country. It’s just fans being fans.
