that looked similar to your photo. It was a dark navy color, loaded with chrome, had yellow fog lamps, the split windshield and room enough between the seats for a dance.

He would put four suitcases upright on the back floor, then spread blankets and pillows across for my younger sister and me to have a daybed type of area during our annual trips to Texas. Years later, I asked him why he only bought coupes in those days, and he responded, "Because your Mother and I were afraid you kids would mess with backseat door handles." Perfect reasoning, knowing my habit of fidgeting. lol
