Interesting: wondering if Clemson will wait for the Utah fellow to make decision on our recent offer - not sure how many OLs we want to recruit this cycle, but can assure Clemson will stick to their word/commitment in extending the offer.

Interesting take. I would think that since they’re committable offers normally it’s first come, first serve. Does a de-commitment put one on the back burner until the latest offer decides? Or does Dabo just say thanks, no thanks? Of course this may be total BS.

Feel a little bad for the kid. His parents should have let him make his own choice rather than looking for a payday for themselves. Feels like they see him as dollar signs more than their son whom they should want to be happy and be in the best situation. Good luck to him wherever he winds up.

the lack of trust from the coaches to play the backups, you would think we have tremendous need and room for a 6'6" 330lb offensive lineman. Plus, the odds that a Utah high school player goes to Clemson is slim, though I would take them both.

I trust Dabo to do the right thing. I suspect the kid has some 'splain'n to do. I'd love to hear the conversation between this kid and Dabo. I'd pay to be a fly in that room.
I doubt we will know the final determination in the next few days. But who knows. Dabo will do what is best for his team and the culture of our program.
