I see the usual suspects are already moaning and groaning about DJ. Forget this game because it is not a game and half the players you see today will not be playing in September. Cade will have to be a good QB down the line but is reality, he should be getting ready for his high school prom.

That wouldn't be hard to do. DJ finished barely rated in the top 150 last year in quarterback rating. People dont realize how awful he has really been and for someone being in the system for 3 years you would expect more.

and hes not accurate today..hes not going to magically get accurate during the season..so far cade has looked worlds better than dj

With that said, Cade gets rid of the ball quicker and is more accurate. He looks better to me

1 Cade throws accurately and has touch on his passes. DJ falls way short on both of these. I don't see improvement from last year.
2 Cade can use his legs to escape a heavy pass rush and punish defenses. He can also use read-option plays to help RBs break of chunk plays.
I'm more convinced than ever Cade will start game 1. DJ is not a fit in today's CFB offenses where QB mobility and escape-ability rule the day. I must admit DJ's pocket presence looks improved but Cade's is already better because he's a natural a moving in the pocket.

DJs movement and touch does look better. Accuracy still not there.

passes but does have the gift for long & strong passing game..but best QB's have both strengths.
Saw this lack of his having both these 2 types of touch on ball while looking at rerun last night of his nice win at UL last Fall where he missed some easy lobs but hit bombs.
Kudos for his winning TD in last 4 minutes vs Cards with his strained & strapped leg killing him on the neat 8 yd run into the end zone Untouched!
A gamer & appreciated TiGER player, whatever!
