Not many will be on scholly. But some will be effective practice players. Holding pads for Peter Woods could be high injury positions.

Not sure you want a serious answer, but Hunter helms (#2 qb), dom thomas (#3 rb) Holden Caspersen (LS) and clay swinney (holder) came in a walkons and are on track to contribute this year. usually several walkons will play on special teams. And in my humble opinion, the guy running scout team all year who may get a couple snaps in blowouts is "contributing in a meaningful way". if it was easy, more guys would do it.

I only see three former walk-ones listed on the TNet scholarship breakdown.
Hunter Helms
Dominique Thomas
Holden Capersen
Drew Swinney was on scholarship, but it doesn’t look as if Clay is presently.

It’s reasonable to ask questions at this point.
The portal is simply a database to support the transfer process. Its not the transfer process. We have taken a transfer each of the last two years.
FWIW Dabo built the program doing things his way which runs counter to the way most programs operate. The result has been the greatest period of success in Clemson history and one of the greatest runs in CFB history. Yet you are advocating for him to do things like most every other team following the path of the coots, Nancy St and multiple other programs who have never sniffed paydirt.

He said on day 1 that he would do it differently.
He has, and he still does.
Lots of people doubted him then (including me).
But I don't doubt him anymore.
Maybe he will be proven wrong, but since we still have a stable roster, my money is on Dabo's vision.
Time will tell, but I believe we return to the CFP this year and have a chance to win it all.
I wonder what his doubters will say then.
