This is the yearly cycle of the dirtpecker's fetish for self-abuse and annual humiliation.


August: This is the year of our comeback with (insert name of latest Head Coach). We are going to win 7 games at least and beat Clemson. Bwaaaack bwaaack bwaack

September: After beating an FCS team in an opener: SEC Championship Game. We are world beaters. Nobody can stop us. We will stomp the taters.

October: My Gawd, the season's over---I can't believe I was born a gamecock. Fire (insert current head coach). Fire (insert current OC). Bench (insert current QB). Fire (Insert current AD). Our whole season depends upon beating Clemson. This is our super bowl. A She She. SEC. SEC. SEC.

November: Oh my gawd, they beat us again for the (insert current Clemson win streak) Nth time. Fire (insert current head coach). Fire (insert current OC). Bench (insert current QB). Fire (Insert current AD).

December: Beaudreaux Butt Paste Bowl in Shreveport if bowl eligible. Or Outhouse Bowl. Roll Tide. SEC. SEC. It just means moar.

January: Wait till next year.

Wash, rinse, repeat. See August and start the cycle again.

In the day the hate was extreme, people decorated yards all over SC for that game.
The main game, the only game --> was kicking chicken.
Now they are so lame as to not be relevant, much less a rival.
I understand that, and I still hate them.
