and not likely it happens if you are, but I think Tillman as the backdrop to Clemson's softball field would be a very unique view and would be a really cool place to build a stadium.

Someone at my work also mentioned finally clearing that spot across from the ESSO in cooperation with this project to mitigate some of the parking issues that will no doubt arise.
Thought that was an excellent idea.

Plus it's on a hill and they just cleared out a lot of the area to make it look better/added a walkway and stone structures for look.

I said earlier. Thornhill Village. Perfect property for...anything. Parking to offset the area taken by the softball facility seems like a good use of the space.

Other than football parking concerns, my only request is that we don't hurt the outfield view from DKS. I've noticed several schools have their baseball and softball stadiums side by side and it is an unattractive view to see the backside of softball bleachers from the baseball stadium and vice versa.
Prefer to maintain the scenic tree view from DKS, with Daboland in the far distance in the right field view.

As soon as hartwell dries up this summer, put the field right in the middle. Have pontoon shuttles for fans and homeruns go in the water. And the good lookin wimmens can swim in those bikinis in between innings
