Listened to More SEC Homers on Satellite Radio This Morning

Was listening to the college sports station on satellite radio this morning while running errands. The announcer and his "guest" were both huge SEC homers, aren't they all these days. To listen to them, there is only one football conference in America, the SEC, and only one football team in the SEC, Alabama. If you believe their dribble, we should just drop the playoff arguments and simply award the national championship every year to Saban and Company, even if they can't beat LSU at home during the regular season.
They discussed Nkemdiche's commitment and basically could not believe that he committed to Clemson or that the commitment would stick. They basically said that Dabo had gotten the commitment too early in the process and would "pull a Clemson" by losing it to one of the big bad boys from the SEC, once those SEC powerhouse programs brought the heat. They said if Saban wanted him, Saban would get him. The ignorance, arrogance and SEC homerism is just unbelievable.
We may not end up getting Nkemdiche at the end of the day, although I think we will, and we may not win every game in which we are favored. But, good grief, I hope I live to see the day that all these SEC homers have to eat their words. You can't pick up a newspaper, turn on a TV, or listen to a radio program, without having to hear SEC, SEC, SEC all the time. If some other teams don't step up and grab the momentum from the SEC, they and their media friends will destroy college football as we know it.

Nkemdiche will wear a Tiger uniform while he is playing DE for Clemson. The dude realizes he could have went to any school he wanted to, and he chose Clemson. I feel better about him than any one recruit we have....

really. everyone else knows what goes on in the sec. blatant cheating, getting kids in school that could not get in anywhere else, not having to do the classwork, etc.. and if you deny that, you are kidding yourself. they have 3 or 4 great teams, the rest are no better or worse than any other conf.,yet they sell their soul to try.

USC might end the SEC reign

I'd rather an ACC team but I think USC has the best chance next year and a very legitimate one to knock off the SEC. As much as I hate Lane Kiffin I will cheer for them against any SEC team.

Everything cycles, my Tiger brother, everything cycles. Have no fear, the SEC and 'Bama will one day fall like every other powerhouse school has done. If you look back at the '90's, there were years that FSU was harkened unto an NFL team, aka. Charlie Ward. SMU was one of the unbeatables back in the late 70's early 80's and they tripped on their own boosters. Big Blue and PSU were monsters for many years. And if you remember, there was a small school back in the '80's, from the state of South Carolina, that dominated a conference for many years. Everything cycyles, my brother. Our time is coming........

i'll give you the trophy on that, it is 100% spot on. texas is down, ohio state is down, and friggin usuc is having the best span in their history. it WILL cycle back, that is a given. clemson will dominate usuc in the valley this year, the real usc has a great chance to dethrone the sec power s this year, and i truly believe we will be in the mix to do the same in '13 and '14. the sec days in the sun are numbered.

I cant listen to the Paul Finebaum show on sirius..... Its mind numbing how 80% of the calls are about Alabama. The other 20% are about everyone else in the sec.
Bill King and Pacman are way better from a national perspective. Im stunned how every other caller on Finebaums show sounds like an inbred mouth breather. Its pathetic.
