Many CU fans completely misunderstand CU's position. CU would not be a net add to the SEC (or Big 10). The additional TV revenue CU would bring would be less than the financial slice CU would demand. So, the SEC is not interested in adding CU (or FSU, or Miami).

Also, firing Dabo would be a $60M expense, not to mention the buyouts of the other coaches. Clemson University itself has approximately $1B in debt, and its athletic department has approximately $173M in debt, if seemingly reliable news sources are to be believed. Unfortunately, CU seems to lack the megadonors that other schools can draw upon. So, adding $60+M in debt is probably not going to happen.

If Dabo "can't fix it", it's going to be a long few seasons ahead.

You worried Coot? Have you seen the ratings when Clemson plays an SEC team? So sorry our TV market is #36 in the country and encompasses Western NC and SC and Northern Georgia while Columbia is #76. lol
