Clemson has a contract with Nike same as Oregon. And Oregon has all those neat uniforms and a different look every week.
We could do that!
We already have an entire orange uniform set... orange britches, orange jerseys and orange helmet.
We could have that in white and purple...all we need is a white helmet with a orange paw, and a purple helmet with an orange or white paw.
Then we can mix and match all season with a different combination every week!!!!!
I think that would be great!
Now I'm going to grab some popcorn and read the comments on how this post is blasphemous or I'm a coot and all....lol.

Of course you wouldn’t want that. Altman started at Oregon at the exact same time as Brownell yet has taken them to 7 NCAAs, has a 16–15 record (Brad 3-3), 5 Sweet Sixteens, 2 Elite Eights, and a Final Four while earning 3 regular season and 6 conference tournament championships. All for a salary that was, until his latest extension, less than $1 million more than Brownell makes.

I do like a little change here and there. I wish we mixed in the purple more. I do like our look with Orange and white ALOT. Just wish military day wasn't the only time we see purple. Don't need to go crazy like Oregon though.

This is crazy talk. We should stick with the traditional Clemson uniforms. That makes us special, not crazy uniform changes. Geez! The only change that I would be ok with are metallic silver or gold helmets and matching shoes. Let’s stay conservative.

I'd love to see the purple uni combos more.
Love the all-purple for Military Appreciation Day so that's good to stay.
However, I wanna see the purple and white combos too in some form or fashion.
Also, I think a white helmet variation would look awesome with the road all-white combo.

uniform combinations... I've always equated teams that place uniform changes as high priority as usual losers or upstarts..flash in the pans.. Maryland always did it, NCSU always does it, Oregon is the outlier in that assumption but.. i've never wanted to go back to those days where thats what we're concerned with week to week. The teams that are elite and are mainstays are always tried and true and committed to their original base look. I really would rather not go back to uniform talk for as long as we can. Because to me it just signifies that you're done with being elite and have now turned your attention to the more fickle and peripheral aspects of college football.
