But I paid $20 to watch Glen Danzig at Characters in Greenville. A 45 minute concert that left me deaf for 2 weeks. He opened with “Mother”. I really should’ve left after that.

Im a metal head. not a huge fan of rap/hip hop, but I respect it. for some reason the will not have metal bands for the halftime show. even a band as big as metallica

That halftime was the worst ever. Even worse than last years - which also sucked.

The year The Who did it was by far the worst halftime show. I know people can’t agree on music for the halftime show, but you can’t just roll out and set up a band in like 15 mins in a massive stadium then take everything down real quick.

a lot of bands dont use the big wall of amplifiers like they used to. they mostly use "modelers" and pipe it in through a PA system. much easier and faster than it used to be. Most of the time if you see the big "wall of marshalls" it is generally just for show and made of plywood or something.

Well that’s kool to know thanks. Music genre really doesn’t bother me, I listen to anything from hard core rap like Webbie or Lil Wyte to old stuff like Boston and David Bowie. Lol but I guess I fall into the youngin category at just 33 years young.

I learned guitar by playing blues music ranging from robert johnson to SRV. but then I discovered Metallica and Maiden. and from there on metal music took a hold of me lol. especially after I heard that a lot of metal guitarists are heavily influenced from old blues guys. The only music I can't get into is newer "bro country" seems pretty bland honestly

My dads been playing the guitar for decades, his band mostly plays blue grass, so I grew up watching them play, and like I said I can listen to that to and not complain then go back to listen to Gucci or something else. I can’t get into these new rappers really I like the stuff I listened to in HS, who’s some of the bro country artists I should avoid?
