When younger could fish like him, but all that work takes the fun out of it for me now.
Less wind today and sunny.
The water is still cloudy and is 58 degrees. The Tugaloo is clear water. I find cloudy hurts fishing, but it aint too bad today.
It is a nice day to be fishing.
I tend to do more trolling these days.
Lately been picking up a lot of small Bass.
That means I have to stop the boat, get it off the hook, etc. To avoid that, today used large lures. Any day striped bass will headed my way, so got out the big lures and went down river a few miles.
Right away found I had not brought binoculars. On the lake these are more important to me than even a fishing pole as I am a bird watcher. I do have my 400-800 camera lens so that will have to do.
I switched out my worn 36v motor for a 24v last year. Terrible decision as this one lacks the power I like. Top end is 2.9mph, which is OK, but wind gusts can play with me now.
I cranked up some Beatles tunes a tad to loud and relaxed on the lounge seat. Auto pilot is great. I am dragging two large Rapalas and a large white spinner bait.

update: I am back safe on the porch now. I caught 3 fish. Two were about the size of the lure I was using and one was about the size of the one this girl has:

I hooked my FiiO player in when on the boat today. My boat audio system sounds OK, but not up to the level of this player.
Playing the Beatles today realized I have the 'Let It Be" album in stereo and in mono by Phil Spector. I have the 'Let It Be... Naked' remix McCartney made. Also have the 'Naked Fly on the wall'. Also have the LP and the CD.
I think it is time for me to let it be.

I saw him in the 80’s in Clemson, I went with 10th row seats & ended up on the front row after changing out with a couple that want our seats. David Lee Roth live! Now he’s fishing with the best in Guam!

Try using a top water bait, such as a Bang-O-Lure (sp.), on a cloudy day. You will be surprised.

I became an avid fisherman when I was about 5.
In olden times before TV, families put poles in the car and went fishing. Picnic food was great as Mom's could cook back then.
Always being cutting edge, my Pop got some cane poles with screw joints so they did not hang out the window so far. As a kid, fishing was one way they got food for the table, so he knew how to catch fish.
After 112 years in the game, know the best bait/lure is the one you have confidence in as the rest are likely to stay in the tackle box.
This is the best fake bait (real is better) :
Bill Dance said it don't matter what color you use as long as it is blue. Here on the Tugaloo I am positive that color is green.

Throw a cherry bomb in the water and you can out fish spud. If that don't
