Les drops the hammer, SEC integrity

Sep 5, 2016, 2:03 PM

1 game for Boutte!!! Wow, speechless. Is that not a 1 game suspension by rule for ejection in 4th quarter!! Les basically did nothing but let him get away with attempting to injure another player.

1 game for flagrant personal foul ejection.

Sad...

Les Miles is still claiming that it was an accident, i.e. that Bouette didn't know the play was over. That's more unbelievable than the light penalty.

I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it, people like me.

I've got to tell you that I have wondered this myself. Boutte (sp?) appeared to be coming at the guy full on and the player he nailed was running and towards his goal. I've seen only the clip which includes very little of what came before, but given that limited view, I think it plausible.

I'm not trying to be an LSU apologist, but with the limited view I have had, I can believe the LSU player was under the belief the play was still ongoing.

Having said all that, I'm just glad the opposing player could still breath. He took one heck of a shot.

For crying out loud, he didn't tackle him

He tried to behead him....it is pure BS that he didn't know the play was over.

Agreed, that was not a football act. He was not attempting to tackle, his intent was injury since his feelings were hurt and his team lost!! If he played for Clemson he might be lucky to ever play again.

He and the other OL stopped dead after the interception. Then runs up and forearms him. A tackle...not!

Suspended 1 game vs WF.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It's actually a 1/2 game suspension cause NCAA rules

Sep 5, 2016, 2:52 PM

Say he must be suspended for the first half
