The schools who voted “nay” were the masterminds, who approached these 3 schools about joining the ACC only to stuff the ballot box to disband it. The SEC, B1G, B12 and ND were in on the scam, so the ACC would go away and release ND and UNC to join the B1G, and Clemson and FSU to the SEC
B12 agreed to take the three western teams after the deal is done. The three amigos will join the B12 at full shares.
Thr rest of the sad sack “company men” in the legacy ACC disperse to the Ivy and G5 leagues. Pure brilliance.

Why are we so confident FSU has a landing spot with the SEC. There is absolutely no incentive for the SEC to get Florida St.

More so than Miami or UF even.
Look how quickly Norvell restocked his roster. Yes, NIL and the portal helped. But you have to have program recognition as well to get kids to come. Kids know the Brand, and ultimately it will be "Brand value" that wins the day in the new CFB.
The SEC needs National Brands separate from the Conference's Brand. Are Arkansas, Mississippi, MSU, Missouri, or South Carolina "National Brands". I don't think so at all.
So yes, the SEC does need the FSU's of the world, in my view.

Most of FSU 2-deep is from the portal and a ton of new, unproven

transfers playing this season, and we have NO IDEA if they will pan out or not. Again, most kids are in the portal because they’re stuck on 2nd or 3rd string. Don’t let the anomalies make you think the portal automatically improves a team. My not do much of anything but build depth.
