to do with CU or our chances. My point is OU has to get by OkSt before worrying about NC games. Like the other poster said, if you do, I certainly would prefer OU over any SEC team.

OSU should not be a problem this year unless OU completely folds...they lost a lot of key and experience players from last year.

than I am but I think Gundy has built a program to be reckoned with on a regular basis. Everybody will have rebuilding years to some degree. It seems that USC can supposedly mail it in, but Oregon won't go lightly. LSU is the SEC darling but Bama says 27-0. FSU is the ACC darling as usual, but CU has the upper hand recently with less talented teams than this year's. Michigan is probably the media pick but I think Michigan St. takes the B10. I guess what I'm really saying is the preseason can be fun to speculate but the first few games will show what's up.

The Pokes has been pretty good the last 4 years and although this could be called a "rebuilding" year for them...it will truely show where OSU is really at. They don't bring in explosive, big name recruits but Gundy has done well with what he's got. Last year it was the talent along with the coaching but this year its the coaching that will show us what they got. As far as pre-season rankings and prediction...it just give us something to do before the season starts. All the teams you mentioned has legit chances of making the BCS title game. I'm sure their will be dark horses in the mix also.

Depth is the the key for teams that get over the hump so to speak....I agree this year will be a key indicator to see if the pokes are true contenders in the big12 or not...have they recruited well enough that they can simply rload so to speak

I see them winning anywhere between 6 to 8 games. Tough home games against Texas, TCU, and WVU with away games at OU and K-State

If that defense doesnt get better they may not make a bowl...cause a new qb may struggle to score like they did last year

What makes you say they'll have the better D? They're secondary was atrocious last season. The Ducks have never relied on quarterback play. Their entire offense is east-west and their passing game is reliant of bubble screens and short outs/comebacks.
If the Oregon QB can hit 8-10 yard routes with accuracy he's mastered the Oregon passing game.

They were bad but not every game ....one reason...is purely DC...they have simply one of the best in the buisness also if im not mistaken they return their entire secondary....Now while I agree to a point that Oregons offense is reliant some on screens and quickgame...the qb also was a key factor in their year they made it to the title game...but My main point was I think barkley with the weapons he has will be able to produce a better offense
