Lady Tiger Bball lost to number 4 Louisville tonight

Feb 3, 2022, 11:22 PM

Final was 93-71. Hard to say a 22 point loss was anything but not good... But I'll say it anyway.

The score was knotted at 44-44 with 7 minutes remaining in 3rd qtr. Down only 5 at halftime. Louisville guard hit a 3 to go up 47-44 and we never recovered. Beat us 49-27 over the remaining 17 minutes.

They battled to the end and never gave up. Just like the ga tech game. No, we're not a good team but we're not as bad as our record indicates. Keep your chin up ladies. Better days ahead.

Moral Victories very well . . . but I hear you and understand . . . in all honesty, they are improving and I pray the trend is long lasting!

Thx for posting!

Louisville is very good. I've watched parts of games this year. The ladies play aggressive. Definitely better days ahead!

7-16 and 14th in the ACC. I like your optimism.

How many of the starters and key reserves will return next season?

What's interesting to me is...

How competitive the woman's bb team has been lately.

I seem to recall the competitiveness started to up after a couple of transfers quit or left the team (or rumor has it) -- earlier this year the scores were straight blowouts almost regularly so something happened that lit a fire...and that's crazy considering this team seemed all but dead in the water and with not much to play for.

That raises an interesting question...do we keep Amanda Butler one more year to see if it works itself out if the Tigers continue to fight it out til the end or is it time for change?

Is her 12 years up already???

(sorry, just couldn’t help it)

Butler isn't the answer.

One of the last few shots for a win this year is this Sunday at Virginia. They are really bad.

This team will lose 20 games this year and will lose its most productive player.

We will have to see if any more players enter the transfer portal.

Ever since they got rid of the two trouble makers at least they have been trying and playing hard. Before that team chemistry was not there and they were not trying
