Calhoun & Wife Floride who gave estate to their Daughter (Anna Maria Calhoun Clemson who married a Yankee from Philly) who in turn gave 3/4 of land and Fort Hill home to state of S.C. for an A&M college. Saying, John C. Calhoun IS 241 yrs old today! Oh, he was VP of U.S. twice, Sec of War, Sec of State, a Senator, an Ambassador and farmer. He strongly believed in the original Constitution and the Maintenance of a real "Union of States" (aka States Rights) which got him into trouble defending it so adamantly and thus the Civil War! HAPPY 241st BIRTHDAY J. C.! And, GoTiGERS!

The Civil War was not a Civil War.

The south was not fighting for control of the American government. It was more accurately either the second American revolution or the war of northern aggression. Actually, it was both.

Everything people are taught about Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War is a lie. It’s pure propaganda. Abraham Lincoln is one of the worst presidents ever and #### on the constitution in ways Democrats today would have wet dreams about! This is actually not controversial. Many scholars have written books and essays about this. They don’t dispute the facts and atrocities of Abraham Lincoln. What they do is try and rationalize it as a means to an end, but that is a lie as well, because Lincoln did not instigate the Civil War because of slavery. Lincoln didn’t give a #### about slaves. Lincoln instigated the Civil War by sending a ship into Charleston harbor to resupply fort Sumter, knowing it would be fired on because Lincoln needed to make the south look like the aggressor so he could send the army into the south to force the south back into the union. In fact, most people up north did not want or support a war, nor did the major newspapers.

It was not unconstitutional to leave the union back, then which is why Lincoln suspended the supreme court, because he knew if the confederacy sued the American government, the confederacy would probably win.

Slavery is still alive and well and thriving around the globe today. Slavery has existed since the dawn of man. The African slave trade wasn’t even racist. Racism had nothing to do with it. That is something created by the left for identity politics. The original slaves in America were actually Irish and other Europeans. But they cannot handle the heat and humidity and malaria in the south. Africans became slaves because they were largely immune to these things because of the climate in Africa.

America is the only country that ended slavery through violence. Everyone else resolved it peacefully because slavery, the Atlantic slave trade, ended around 20 years later because of the industrial revolution as well as more enlightened ideals.

And of course, people back then were not racist the way we think of racism today. They were simply a product of their time. But there has always been racism and will always be racism everywhere around the world. In fact, Asia is one of the most racist places on the planet. And the most racist people in America are actually black. Well, and of course white liberals.

But let’s not let things like the truth get in the way of really good propaganda!
