I like the look of this year's roster. I like all the size. Just hope the coaches will let the young players actually play and develop some depth. I'm really glad RJ is back. Wish he had never left. We really missed him last season.

CBB has been really good at the Portal recruitment, but he’s been really bad at developing the young talent. It’s no wonder that guys like Del Jones and Asa Thomas bail out.

Asa Thomas wasn't going to be a factor.

Wrong. Players that stay in he program always develop except Wiggins but that’s on Wiggins for being a pansy ###

Exactly, for two years now we've heard how good Dallas Thomas is, and this year Thompson and Foster are being talked about as two of the best recruits Brownell has brought in. With the portal being so prevalent, you have to get them playing time when you can, so they'll feel like it's worth coming back until they graduate. No more gaming the NET rankings this year, the ACC has gotten much better (Duke, UL, NCSU, UNC, Miami, Clemson, and even UVA all have a chance at a top 3 finish), so this might honestly be a slight retooling year for basketball. Young guys can't develop sitting on the bench.

I think he has to play the young talent this season. He already has mentioned how impressed he was in frosh Zac Foster and Chase Thompson in how they were above strength weight than the might have expected. Also we're both highly recruited especially Foster. Also has mentioned that redshirt frosh Ace Buckner was going to be big for them defensively. Still feel like the other redshirt frosh Dallas Thomas can help out a lot on the wing with his length especially in a 1-3-1 zone type of defense. 10 player depth on a regular basis is going to be a strength of this team.
