The NCAA made us pick which game we wanted to play in today a month ago? Coach Bakich said he picked the early game because of the risk of bad weather and didn't wanna end up playing til 1am after a rain delay. Sounds smart to me given the info he had available. If we were able to wait til, I dunno, Sunday or Monday to choose maybe we would be playing at 6. The NCAA never fails to screw things up.

Keep track of the game 1 winners and the game 2 winners,....

Way greater odds of the game 1 winners advancing especially with bad weather. Both Corbs and Sully usually choose to play game 1. May not be the case this weekend with no rain forecasted in the area. Just something I kept track of a few years ago.

Dang it’s hard to believe they were asking about this a month ago. Did not even know for sure we would host a month ago. Maybe I was too pessimistic.

Bakich probably decided the day after we dropped all those infield pop ups in the evening sky. That was a bizarre nightmare.
