How worried should we be about

teams going after Brent after this season? What he has done to transform this defense from the Steele days to where it is now is nothing short of remarkable. He's put in his time as a defensive coordinator, and he's got fantastic charisma.

More worried about that than losing Morris.

not to mention the other defensive coaches: Brooks, Reed, and Hobby. They should all get attention from other teams.

I think he's just fine where he's at for the moment anyway. He'll wait on a nicer job imo.

Bill Snyder has 3 9-win seasons, 2 10-win seasons, and 7 11-win seasons in his two times at K-State. He appears to be on pace for another 10 or 11 win season. They didn't use to be a powerhouse but now have become a top team in the Big 12. If they ever put any money behind that program then they will be really tough. They compete and beat teams like Texas, Oklahoma, and Ok State on a regular basis now. It is also his alma mater. Why in the world would he stay away from that with the exception of maybe that he wants to let his son stay at Daniel High School. However, he is a freshman so a move isn't that big of a deal. I think that is where he gets his shot after Snyder retires.

right now.
I just don't see it any time soon, and I don't think they maintain that level.. Just my east coast bias I guess.

Steele had a secondary consisting of Byron Maxwell, Marcus Gilchrist, Deandre McDaniel, and Crezdon Butler to go along with a d line that had Daquan Bowers, Ricky Sapp, Jarvis Jenkins, and Brandon Thompson. If BV had that defense we would be just as good as we are now. Also Steele isn't in the same level as BV in terms of coaching LBs

good year and Quan was lazy...BV has better LBs and unarguably, is a better coach...But he wouldn't have done any better in 2011

Byron Maxwell played in 13 games every season he was here

Steele had McDaniel playing lb for some unknown reason before moving him to ss and in 2010 nobody wanted to throw near him because of his phenomenal 2009 season. Other than Anthony and Steward Steele didn't recruit good lbs, Boulware wanted a Clemson offer and made it known but never got one until BV came in.

snaps covering kicks, DMac HAD to play LB because we didn't have any LBs due to VK's "scheme" and UM had no problem throwing it on DMac in 2010, as a matter of fact, they consistently picked on him....And other than Anthony and Steward? Like they're not enough? And don't sleep on Goodson

DRad and Clements need to quarantine him in an office with contract talks that begin with "what do we need to do to keep you?" Best coach on the staff in over 20 years.

Hope we keep him for as long as we can though. Good luck to him when he leaves for a HC job, he deserves it. When he leaves Dabo will go after another top defensive mind and Clemson will move on.
