Just some views on coaching techniques and procedures

Try to do in face screaming in practice not in the game. If the head coach has a problem with the play of a player, he should take it up with his position coach. That is true in any chain of command organization. Tension being wound too tight causes mistakes. It has been said they practice good but do not carry it to the game field. Maybe the game field is too tense. You may be blasted and screamed at on national tv. I hope the players relax have fun take control of the game day atmosphere and play football. I think you would see a big change in results and the bottom line... points. Just my opinion for what it's worth. Probably not much.

You do not give Saban much credit. At 5'8" 160 He is much smarter and controlled than that.

Many, many times! Good Lord have mercy. How could you make this comparison. Saban belittles and chews out players, coaches, Moms and the dog barking next door. He is notorious for his rants and antics.

You have good points of course. I said my opinion was probably not worth much. I do know it serves no useful purpose. It is becoming more often and more intense. The cameras have caught it and keep looking for it. It is a bad look.

A very different year or so with no spring ball, Covid, team chemistry and an overrated QB.

Good post prefab. I have noticed on virtually EVERY timeout, the players gather around and there are "at least" three coaches yelling maniacally to the group. Sometimes 4 or 5 are all talking at the same time. I got news for ya folks.......their wives can have a group of ladies gather and all talk at the same time and they all know what the other women said.......amazing phenomenon! But young men?? No way!! They are getting NOTHING out of all the screaming and yelling from all directions. All it does is make them mad and/or tense, and there is no doubt, by even the casual observer, that they are playing tight, tense and in fear of making a mistake. Turn em loose Dabo!!
