Probably to be honest.
Because they have an established track record and would have to get used to the talent, which takes time, I wouldn't necessarily be calling for replacing them after one year.
Another drawback of promoting from within is you don't have any of that cover. They don't have a track record, they are keeping more or less the same systems and they know the personnel. So less of a grace period.

If we had somebody proven making the same idiotic calls on offense I’d want changes still.. I’m fine with defense for now

than someone who hasn’t.
That’s why I expressed concern from the start about Dabo promoting Streeter, Goodwin, and Conn to coordinator positions. All three were underqualified for the promotion.

If they had proven track records then they’ve built up that equity and deserve the benefit of the doubt. If they came in here from outside with no proven track record, then they better make a difference immediately.

What I know is that Dabo is most likely micromanaging both coordinators. That's a good thing, imo. They are both in training. I expect them to get better and better but we probably won't notice because Dabo will slowly back away from micromanagement.
That's how I trained everyone from children to Job Superintendents. It doesn't take them long to figure out the quicker they learn the sooner you get off their butts. It's OK, I used handrails and safety harnesses.
