Those games shouldn’t have came down to the last second. LSU maybe, they’re a good team. Georgia Tech on the other hand, they shouldn’t have been close enough to win it on the last second.

Like tell your OC, on most of your drives I better see a run play on at least one of the 3 downs. If you are not you need permission. Otherwise here is the door.

Ok I’m a pumper.
But its inexcusable to let a qb run all over you thats been at GT since General Patton was a private. Everyone on the planet knew it was coming. He isn’t a great passer.

Program is soft ever since covid. Starts at the top. Too much rat poison. Too many off the field endeavors. A huge jump start is needed. Offense not the same since Jeff Scott left.
BTW Haynes King is Connor Shaw.
Dabo just quit talking so much and go back to work. We still love and support you but you have to go back to 2015 somehow. Bring your own guts time.

This team is soft; the offensive line sucks and the so-called defensive superstars are playing not to get hurt! Peter Woods and TJ Parker, not playing to their hype, pisses me off that a team with so much potential is half-a__ing it!

Its not that simple, coach. Games have fortunately for Clemson come down to the last play but anyone with eyes can see we were very fortunate in all 3 games to be 1 play down on 2 out of 3.
We also had some fortuitous bounces against Troy.
I don't like the portal or NIL but 5-7 guys a year is a must to stay relative.

Very much appreciate this comment. Any coach who genuinely tries to sell himself, his players and fans on it came down to one play at the end is clueless about the game of football where there are literally 100+ plays in the game. It’s never just one play. I used to think this was just Dabo speak but I’m starting to wonder if he believes this.

I don't like the portal or NIL but 5-7 guys a year is a must to stay relative. We need some edge about us, fire and bringing some bad intentions on both sides of the ball. Starts with coaching and cutting about half our assistants would be good. Too many cooks in the kitchen.

That's the biggest tell that he's still in charge of the offense and Riley is just there to take heat off him. I don't know if the offense would be better if Riley could actually run his own schemes, but we'll never know since Dabo insists on running "The Clemson Offense."

The biggest disappointment yesterday had to be the fact that on Tech’s last drive the defense had an opportunity to stand up and get the ball back for our offense, which had just completed a very nice drive. EVERYBODY watching the game knew what Tech was going to do- run the quarterback- and we couldn’t stop it. Tech obviously wanted it more. Watching this team is like watching 2021 but 2021’s defense was (much) better. The season is far from over but it’s gonna take a dramatic turnaround to save it. This is the season we have been building for?

He's in denial
Sometimes it's tough to admit you're wrong and swallow your pride
If he is unable to make the necessary adjustments to bring back our competitive edge , maybe he should move on
I would rather it occur now than for it to become much uglier.

Every article posted is the same. Pointing out all the reasons why we are not winning. Save the net space u til you have something different to post. And why do we act shocked? We were not good last year or the year before and our QB is a DJ remix.
If he doesn’t come around soon, Dabo will be the equivalent of Kapernic - no one will want anything to do with him because he has thrown the gauntlet down so hard regarding the portal.

Saying the LSU games “came down to the last play” is disingenuous. It did not come down to the last play. They dominated the second half of that game and coming up short on your last desperation drive is not “coming down to the last play”. This is loser Tommy Bowden spin.

From our view, this has been an extremely poorly coached team. We have the talent to be really good but it's not translating to Saturdays. This has been ongoing for years now and the talent has allowed us to squeak by some teams. This is completely unacceptable.

“Just a few plays away”
Shut up and get to work dude. Shouldn’t have had your team in a position to where those few plays had the game on the line.
And my spine shivers when he says “I know the culture and expectations we created here at Clemson” like he just wants to tell us fans to shut up and be happy with mediocrity because that was the standard before he got here. If i work for a bad company and turn it into a great company, im going to be held accountable if the company starts to regress. I can’t say “well sales are still better than when I got here”

Dabo is finally being exposed for what he really is, a condo salesman. He would make a great cheerleader. Remember the bowl game against WVA and Dabo said that Steele had some great defensive plan? Well, Clemson got rolled by 72 points. The Stoops brothers shafted Venables after we fired Steele and he fell into our lap as he was looking for a new job. Boyd fell into place, then we became a "cool place" to play with Dabo's All in, Roy bus, etc etc. Then he gets two generational QBs, the power rangers, which is a one in a lifetime thing to happen, like the Steel Curtain with the Steelers, and then what happens? Morris leaves...our offense starts sinking, Venables leaves? Dumbo hire Wes as an experiment and we all know what happened there. And from 2010-2020, the ACC was about as weak as any time it has ever existed. Then he is so stubborn, he has to keep Streeter around way too long and we saw what happened there. The coaching staff looks incestual with all of his kids and former players on the coaching staff. I mean here is a guy who thinks so much of himself that he gives his son a scholarship, which could have been given to a player from the portal while he makes 12 mil a year. Always full of excuses, "the best is yet to come", dumb sayings like that. I mean, when we win the natty, it is all about "only God could do this"...we lose and we don't hear "only God could do this", right? Dabo is spent fuel. And we start the season at LSU next year? I would advise you to keep your kids away from the TV, it would be something really nasty to watch. We are stuck with Dabo, next year's payout is 56 million and if we tried to fire him, he is going to tell us about the past of nattys from long ago. He has rejected the NIL for the most part and got on the portal way too late and this will take years for us to recovery as we will be playing catchup ball with the rest for years.

Dabo has known about the issue...that's why some changes have been slowly/reluctantly made, buts its the slow walking of things he would prefer not to do that has us where we are.
Dont like the one/two plays away jargon...its old and that really isn't why we are losing all these games. You could say the opposite of games we won. But I'll give him credit here though...this is a MUCH BETTER RESPONSE than the Tyler BS. Never blame the fans....its a fruitless endeavor. Best to take the incoming and control what you can control...

Constantly pointing to the high expectations is a passive aggressive excuse people make when they have run out of things to blame. We all know Clemson can be at the tier one level, but most realistically know they are not going be Alabama every year. But we don’t want to turn into the has beens like Florida state and Virginia tech

Does anyone understand sports? Has anyone ever played? I play tennis. A shot catches the line and its a great shot; an inch outside and I choked. This team has been playing too tense, too hyped up and the pressure has shown early in the games. During his first season as head coach, Eric Bakich explained the turn around in their season by saying, "We played like we were playing with house money." The last thing this team needs is to get down on themselves even more. Go play to have fun. Everyone has written you off. There is still a slight possibility of making it back to the playoffs, but don't even think about it. Have fun and it is possible that by the end of the year this team will be as good as everyone expected. Klubnik will do well if he can take the pressure off himself.

Other teams theoretically have more growth potential

My concern from the LSU game was that since we already have so much experience and continuity, you'd expect a team like LSU to improve more throughout the season than Clemson which is more ready-made.
Clemson isn't the only team that should have some in-season growth.
We have some easier games upcoming before SMU and FSU.

Still waiting for the Garrett Riley offense to show up after 3-4 years; where is the best defense in the Country; and a Senior QB who looks panicked half the time. Something is very wrong. Frankly, it looks like coaching.

It is not that Riley offense, it is the Clemson offense.

Look in the mirror Dabo - lead or get out the way! Quit making excuses.

There are too many problems all over the board for it not to be coaching.***
