Tuesday update: "It was a little miserable" in Jervey Meadows
Head coach Dabo Swinney moves his team off of the manicured practice fields behind the new football operations center and the indoor practice facility for a week during fall camp every year and makes the team practice in Jervey Meadows. The reason? The fields aren’t perfect, and the bony remnants of last year’s tailgating meals litter the grass. Full Story » |

Maybe its just coaches speak but I kind of though Bryant was putting some distance between himself and the other two. Dabo is making it sound like he wants one of the other guys to jump up and take it.
Maybe just trying to keep Kelly motivated. I feel like we may hear more on depth chart after saturday

I think it's exactly like he said. Bryant is the starter as

of today, but it's clear the other QBs are pushing him, and it's clear they plan on playing multiple QBs no matter who starts in game one.

You are correct, but at the same time, Nick still got a cup of coffee with the Steelers, so it's not like he was chopped liver.

94 degrees with about 90% humidity. I did yard work for about 2 hours in it and wanted to quit.

Junction boys did not come into camp the way these tigers do! We have some Des that could cover the wrs on that team, and are bigger and stronger than the ols. The tigers are in shape and have to be ready fo 15 games. The junction boys may have played 10. The Alabama teams I saw back then had about 200 players on scholarship.

... by the time that training camp was over, they were down to a mere handful of guys who were tough enough to stick it out.
But, I totally understand your point.
It just struck me as a bit humorous to see the descriptions of the "hardships" endured by moving over to Jervey Meadows for the day and seeing a chicken bone or two on the ground.
That's all ...

thanks for the correction, I was remembering being at a game as a child in Death Valley against Alabama and they filled their sidelines. They had more players at the game than we did.
