wasn't Watkins sick when we played them last year?

I know they were able to press him last year, but I have a hard time believing that's a good idea against a Sammy that's in better shape and entirely healthy.

Was he saying that Nuk wasn't physical?

I thought he was a pretty tough sumbich.
Sammy has shown a bit more toughness this year. It's almost painful to watch him hammer into safeties trying to tackle him. He seems to speed up leading into the contact and squeaks out a few more yards while the defender flies backwards.

No, he was saying with Nuk and Jaron that the rest of the receivers weren't physical enough.

His quote was from the ACC Kickoff before the season, like it says in the article.

Everyone has their keys to the game.. Mine are, Clemson's ability to run the football. I think if we do, we'll be fine.(and sure, don't turn the ball over)

So he can shake Sammy's hand after being lit on fire for four quarters.

I hope he tries to jam Sammy at the line and he beats him and Tajh hits him deep for six early in the game. That will shut the cocky son-of-a-you know what up real quick.

These are the types of games that are program building type games if you compete and win. FSU has 5 and 4 stars up and down the lineup we have 4 and 3 star talent mainly. We need to step up and win these types of games to win the recruiting battles to be a consistently field a 5 star 4 star type lineup that we will be facing this Saturday.

Cannot STAND these types of posts....shows no football savvy to think you have to have all 5 stars to win...it's all about getting players that fit your schemes and having the awesome coaches like venables and Jeff scott and reed and Dan brooks to develop them into elite college players

Joyner sounds like a smart guy. He might let his mouth run faster than his brain sometimes, but he seems intelligent. I like that there's no trash talking. Just a bunch of kids excited to play a big game. I do think that our D-line is going to have a huge impact on this game. And our coaches seem to be doing a really great job this season of preparing our kids for exactly what they will see on Saturday.

So, does Joyner think pressing is important?

I'm not clear on how serious he takes his job of pressing opposing receivers.
