Josh Kendall is an AP Poll voter. His rankings are a prime example of why college football has moved to a CFP Committee for determining team rankings and rendered the AP Poll as worthless as used toilet paper. The AP poll has always trended towards a popularity contest judged by opinionated, biased, sports writers who make rankings based on "eye test" instead of critical analysis and have no more expertise/insight into college football than us fans.
I don't always agree with the CFP Committee rankings, but I find it rather comforting that CFP committee consists of qualified, smart people who establish criteria, analyze the data, and have an open debate to draw a consensus for the rankings. The AP is just a bunch of mail in crap from a bunch of pompous sports hacks...

Exactly ...since the CFP committee showed up ...the coaches and AP polls are just not that meaningful after week 8 .
They have so many people viewing this game's landscape from so many different angles and prejudices that the current system make the old one look antiquated and silly .
