I wish we were in the SEC. We're on the verge of being as good as any of those SECheat teams and we're cleaner than Vandy.
I'd like the Western Division and play Bama, AU and LSU each and every year. Yes, I know what I'm saying.

We should have gotten into the SEC when the ACC gave us an extras year of probation...if we had, we would have avoided having Hatfield and west which Hatfield literally destroyed the program and West could not get us back on the right track...I see Bowden running his mouth but don't remember him winning but one national championship while he was at FSU so what did he gain, and also he ran FSU into the ground before he left like Hatfield did to us.

I agree completely. I hate being perceived as a wannabe because we aren't in the SEC. I'd relish playing an SEC schedule! And yes, I also know what I am saying.

sports in the ACC. Exception is basketball. Football, baseball, WBB, softball - all tougher week in and week out in the sec. I'll take my chances against wake, uva, bc, pitt, miami, pitt most weeks, most sports.

in Miami for the natty. I was there for puntrooskie. I was there when Major Harris looked like a major idiot against Danny's D. I was also there when we thought we had a chance to get sec invite a few years ago. Even tho the $ would be good, I'm glad we are where we are.

It's all about manipulation . . .

Some schools manipulate grades to make sure they get good recruits that can help them win.
Some schools manipulate schedules to make sure they have the opportunity to win them all.
Some schools manipulate which conferences they want to belong to when presented by that choice to have a good chance at winning them all.
Some conference commissioners (BOZO THE CLOWN SWOFFORD) manipulate member schools to make sure they stay put in their conference by acting chummy for a while and showing up for meetings they never attended before, etc.
Some networks manipulate teams and conferences to show them in the best light and others in the worst light.
And so it goes.

Bet you if FSU was in the SEC they would have gotten a free pass on a loss during the wide right years. It might be easier to have a better record in the ACC, but the SEC gets the nod whether they deserve it or not by excusing losses.
