That is a stupid idea. Give them more games like the 2 best overall teams make it like cry a river smu lost the acc title game they still made playoffs.

This is probably SECPN's idea to eliminate the 2 and 3 ACC teams from the playoff to get an extra SEC team in.

He is an idiot! That’s just what we need in today’s climate, to have to play and win 2 extra games to be the ACC Champion. Then the tired ACC champion, who had to play extra games, and have more chances for players to get injured before making the 12 team National Championship field, would loose the chance to have injured players to recover before the NC run. NUTS! He needs to figure out a way to get the other teams, besides us and SMU, to get quality players and coaches that can win on a consistent basis to build the conference up to where it needs to be.

Agreed. Regular season championship means nothing in basketball and baseball except for tournament seeding. Football should be the same. Because of the number of teams, league SOS isn't consistent. There needs to be a championship game and let the loser get into the playoffs on their record - or not.
