While Pitt definitely didn’t handle it well, I’m not shocked by FSU players deciding to taunt instead of shake hands. They were pretty classless last week

Player got in his face. He shouldn't have been there, and Hamilton needs to deal with his team, but would be surprised if he's suspended.

The coach. The video at start shows him talking to the FSU who are chirping away. Then when the FSU players try to get between him and the FSU players, he gets mad at him and pushes him and charges and tells at the player, etc.

the player put his hands on Capel first, no doubt about that... hard to tell what his intentions were... maybe he was trying to be a peacemaker?

Yes he was. He touched both sides to separate them. That's all he was trying to do.

recently in my grandson's Jr High game a kid fouled late and after the call kept on. SHoving other players the refs and his own coaches and team mates. Ultimately after order was restored the refs called the game w the instigators team trailing by 10 w 16 seconds left. They the 8th graders who werent even on the floor then but in the locker room had their game canceled as a result. It was just an ugly and unsettling situation which flared up out of no where.

Capel just moved him back out of his face. I believe officials allow too much trash talk , mouthing and profanity. Also the constant over celebrating about one first down, basket made, or base hit. Especially in the face of the opponent. Officials are going to have to start having a no tolerance of these things. It will also take ejecting a coach for players antics before it’s stopped. You would not believe how this affects the younger athlete and their attitude.
