I said from day 1 that Kaep’s movement hurt black lives.

This is just an opinion piece but it speaks to what many of us could see coming from the get-go. Demonizing the cops, defunding the cops, claiming that cops are out there murdering black Americans…pouring gasoline on the distrust between the black community and the cops and then lighting a match…it gets you a lot of Nike money and a lot of invitations to trendy left leaning parties…but it ultimately erodes the safety and quality of life of those he pretended to support. In my opinion, it will take a long time to undo the damage this man has caused. Shame on anyone who saw this sham of a movement leader and fell in line with him.

He disrespected a symbol of the country that has laws that give him the right to disrespect that symbol. I'm thankful that he was the beginning of better weekends.

The better weekends part is a huge plus. I have not even thought about watching an NFL game since the league started it’s woke crap. I honestly wish the league would fold. Of course I realize it won’t.

100%. Similar unintended consequence…One of the things blacks have a problem with is being watched in a retail store, like for shoplifting. The events of the last couple of years and the events to follow over the next year or two will do nothing but solidify the fact that blacks will be watched even more carefully in retail establishments. It must be very demeaning for them.

You can’t have riot after riot, smash & grab at will across the US, and random attacks on others without consequences, especially when so much of it shows up on video. Retail store managers and owners that are liberal will be watching just as closely as anyone else!

The sad part of this is that the Democrats, who purportedly are against this type of thing, continue to take action that makes it worse.

NC Tiger it is true that actions have led to more profiling. I absolutely profile people. If you’re black and you walk toward me with your pants around your knees and a hoodie covering your face I’m not taking my eyes off of you. If you’re white and you look like you’re a lifetime member of the Hells Angels I’m not taking my eyes off of you. It’s all about how a person presents themselves. I couldn’t care less about their race.

I've told my wife many times that I'm a "clothes racist"

If you're dressed like a punk - I've give you a wide berth. Doesn't matter what color you are...

“Clothes racist”. I like it. Perfect description.

Perhaps so, but you must forgive Colin as he has the scars of "slavery" inflicted upon him by the NFL. Our own Trevor Lawrence is now likewise a victim of white slavery. Something must be done to stop the evil NFL from judging athletes mentally and physically before giving them millions to play with a ball.

It's just so heinous. No one should judge Colin based on his past subjugation by the NFL.

Problem with him, he didnt stop

With just a symbol protest. He began to bash all police. Wearing pig socks. Then went all militant. Now he talks like a militant loon.

All I know is that when some black people get arrested now they act like they are getting assualted even when they are in the wrong. It makes the situation more complicated.
