has anybody actually been to one of these radio station "remotes"?
I accidentally did once, stopped at the 7-11 in Seneca/Clemson once on way home from work (actually known as "The Palms" at the time). And unknown to me, Walt Deptula was in there doing his show. About 4 or 5 absolute losers hanging around in the store fawning and nodding in agreement to ever word he sputtered. I suppose it was Gamecock Will, Delvin, and like.
They threw me a free t-shirt as I walked out, I guess a reward for stopping by.

...and it looks like that's where this pic is from, though I'd guess the set-up looks the samesies wherever it is. And I'm proud that I can't identify if that's Twin Peaks or not from what I can see of the background....
Gamecock Will was there. He looks exactly like what you'd think he looks like.

ago. I was a salesman and he was one of our delivery drivers. A lot of people think he was just an act, or paid by the radio station, and that nobody could be that dumb. I can assure you that what you heard on the radio was 100% genuine. He really is a super nice guy, and he learned to play up his character just a bit as he gained popularity/notoriety, but it was no act. He was 100% die hard coot and he really fancied himself as a Ric Flair level smack talker and expert football analyst. He was every bit as dumb and goofy as he sounded.

but I do enjoy listening to The Roar 105.5, even if it isn't slick, big time, big budget radio; it gives me a little Clemson sports here and there. LOL at all of the ###### on here that get off on bashing it.
