...going to say it.
Adam Humphries was *wide open* down the left hash on the 4th and 16 play against LSU.
Additionally, the only rush from the left side was double teamed and got pancaked... easy throwing lane.
HOWEVER, if Humphries beats the LSU safety playing deep (#6) and scores the touchdown, there will be about 1:08 left on the clock and LSU has 2 timeouts... AND down 5 (29-24 Clemson).
I'm good with the outcome. Lol.

I saw that too and was dumbfounded but knew the successful play was already schemed up and TB had to stay with the plan.
Also, our RB got a good lick on their main rusher on our right side which gave TB that split extra second he needed to wait for Nuk to come around to the point of where ball meets WR’er.
Lastly, that LSU D unit were dogs..meaning hungry and looking for meat on every play.

All these NFL like blocks you two were seeing, I bet TB wished many of times those guys would have been using those blocking skills when the LSU D was burying him in the dirt 4/5 of that game lol, bc he had to have been one of the toughest QB's in the country that night!!!

offensive line and defense at all 11 positions.
He could have won a title in '16 and '18 with the weapons Clemson had.

The options were to throw to a wide-open Humphries or Nuk who was not really open. I certainly liked the outcome but it's hard to argue TB made the best choice.

when Rod Gardner made the catch part deux to set up the game winning field goal. However, I don't have enough faith that JD would have made the catch.
