With his size and speed, he could be the anchor man at an early age in his college career if he choose Clemson. Picking up where Grady Jarrett lefted off. Opportunity to be a new age William Perry type of sack master. As an early enrollee, he's sure to get playing time because he has the skills and size to play all over the defensive front line. Coaches VB and Hobby would draw up all types of schemes with a player of his talent. This year defensive line talent will definitely have the NFL scouts hounding Clemson's defensive linemen for years to come. The stage has already been set by this year front seven. All that next year group will have to do is just shine and their future will be bright too. A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY to SHINE at an early age in their college football career. The field with be wide open for some hungry high schooler that's not afraid of competition, and who is looking to make an early impact.

I've always wondered how recruits look at the losing/winning

teams. Would they be more likely to want to attend the better program that is winning (the fun is in winning); or would they want to attend the school that is losing and probably needs their help more (there's no fun in standing on the sidelines...I want to play as a freshman)?

I think stability in staff is one of the most important factors. If a team is losing but is showing progress and the coach has the admin support - I think (not being an FBS recruit ever in my wildest dreams) a recruit is good to go.
But if you see your team is trending down and the coach and probably the people recruiting you are going to get fired....in that case you start looking elsewhere unless you grew up with the goal of attending [university] and nothing else will do

My son ran track and Roseboro was at the meet. I thought he was there for shot-put or discus. Nope.
That big ol' boy was ther to participate in 4x400 relay.
For somebody his size, he sure was moving. Not the fastest sprinter in the field but certainly not the slowest. Pretty amazing for a guy who was 100 pounds and 5 inches taller than the average runner.
I did speak with him for a minute and he said at the time (back last spring) that he grew up pulling for Clemson, but that he was liking the Tarheels at the time since they were showing him the most love. He kinda' implied that Clemson wasn't showing him the same attention.

Pretty sure Huggins and maybe Setttle hold our last two commitable offers.

I think we would take Roseboro if he pulled the trigger, with some of the attrition we've had lately

Especially if the defense close out this year performance better than they started it.
