Beating the dead horse DJ situation. Given that I've seen reports of DJ being only the 3rd most impressive Oregon State QB in camp so far, I am now thankful that we were still able to do as well as we did. Lot of blame put on OC, QB, and receivers, but being realistic if you have a special QB like DW, TL, or maybe Cade, it should bring everything together. Especially when our receivers are mostly at least 4-star rated out of HS.
Recruiting is really starting to build offensively, and always defensively of course. Again looking back on all the bad play in the last 2 years, we were pretty successful with the QB and the offensive scheme that we had.

Lot of blame - you named everyone but Dabo. I love Dabo, but I would say he is too loyal sometime.

Going 10-3 in 2021 with a 55% passer with more interceptions than TDs in 2021 was incredibly impressive. The losses were all very close too. Speaks volumes for the defense and running backs.
It would take more than a few paragraphs to voice my thoughts on 2022, but I'm just glad the former QB moved on. Much like Covid or any other exhausted topic, I try to leave it in the past and look forward.
Biggest takeaway: Clemson finished top 15 in 2021 and 2022 with the worst QB play since since 2014. (Finished top 15 that year too) Clemson is a blue blood and they're not going anywhere.

I don't know bro, I just read this article from Oregon Sports News with the following quote:
"It’s obvious that Uiagalelei will be the starter in the opener against San Jose State, barring some sort of injury.
His experience in the ACC, particularly at a high-profile school like Clemson, should make Pac-12 environments feel tame."

Someone sent me this. You may be correct, but what you said and what this article, which is legit, says a little otherwise.
I’d still bet on DJ above whatever QBs they got over there lol

One thing is for sure, they aren't going to hand it to him on a silver platter. He is going to have to earn it between now and the fall.
