It's obvious that Clemson doesn't care about player safety

Why are we putting a win against a creampuff opponent over our player's safety? All it takes is one lightening strike to change a young man's life. And if a wind gust grabs a cell phone out of your hand and carries it to the sideline and hits a player in the head, what how do you think that player's parents are going to feel knowing that your unrelenting hunger for a gladiator-like football program has ruined their chances for an NFL future?
Please don't be selfish. I think we should use the extra week to prepare for the option...and not force the players to play in the rain. They could get rashes from the extra moisture and WE NEED their minds focused on staying disciplined and playing assignment football.

Hard to get struck by lightning when the storms don’t get here until evening. I’m not a weather expert but what risk are they at playing in mild temperatures and sun? Sounds like horror to me.

Clemson is thinking of the Clemson family. You know how many small businesses make their business survive off the home game revenues? The storm does not reach Clemson until Saturday NIGHT... Hurricanes do not create lightning conditions; I have held onto a cell phone in an open cockpit biplane while videoing at 120 mph... hold on to your cell phone! And to think it will Fly across the field and hit a player , instead of drop like a rock to you feet is a little bit out there. Obviously not a Clemson physic major and probably a Coot who is the chicken that screamed the sky is falling!

How bad do you think this storm is going to be by Saturday? If the weather warrants it closer to GameDay they will postpone/cancel the game. As it stands right now the biggest danger from this storm won’t be it getting here, it will be it staying here and dumping massive amounts of rain over SC

Fellow Tigers, this is a serious matter. If it rains some of the players may get "Ground Itch" and then there is the matter of getting their uniforms dirty. How would they look if their uniforms were covered with mud and grass stains? That would look as bad as those new Seminole uniforms.
I believe there is a rule that the game must be suspended if radar detects a thunderstorm within a specified distance. As far as a cell phone flying through the air by a blast of air, that sounds like a research topic for those in aerodynamics. Put that wind tunnel to use. We may be able to save millions of lives if someone could determine the wind blast required to cause a cell phone to become air borne. And, while the researchers were at it, maybe they could also determine the same info for bottled water and hurled insults.
