There he is. I’m honored. I was going to Clemson games before you were born. But I’m flattered. Thanks

Dabo put Antonio Williams in his place, and it's one the key reasons we came back and won the game.
It was a bad look for Clausen to keep kicking to Dabo's son, but he paid for it in the end.
Thing is, we could put your grandma in the position when we play you in the Valley, and we'd still beat the snot out of you.
It's coming.

Maybe to set them up so we can switch to Antonio Williams and get a 40 yard return like we did on the last kickoff return.

Because until the Swinney children have graduated, we are going to continue to play daddy ball. Never mind if some more talented, just as hard working kid is not playing deserved minutes so that son 1 or son 2 can play

I’m pretty sure you don’t know how hard they work. And also there’s zero need to put starters on the kickoff blocking unit just to get hurt on a play that results in a touchback. Dabo recognized what they were doing, benched his kid and took advantage of the situation. Hard to ask for anything more than that.

I can tell you this. The Swinney boys have never, to my knowledge, mishandled a snap on a field goal or extra point attempt. That is an awesome accomplishment. They've earned their right to be on the field. Low blow on your part.

Took a tremendous hit and was shaken up enough that he sat out the entire series. Swinney took his spot presumably to prevent your bell cow RB from unnecessary hits.

I’d bet it has something to do with he performs very well at that position. That is not typically a spot that returns kicks, but he fielded all of them cleanly. Typically if the kick is returned his role would be to throw a block.

There are a couple of things here.
Let's accept your premise, that Wake Forest saw Swinney in there and identified it as a weakness. If that's the case, why did they not identify Williams was in there instead, and kick it away from him?
My point is, I don't think the facts support your premise. I would say it's more likely that Wake Forest was just using the pop up kick to lessen the chance of a return, which is a common tactic for teams to employ. The fact that they kicked it to one of the most dangerous receivers indicates that they weren't doing it based on the personal at that position.

Very reasonable question. Even beyond Antonio Williams I can think of a couple players I’d rather have there than Drew Sweeney.
We will soon see what the coaching staff learned on this topic versus Wake.

Step one in the return game, Catch The Ball !! As orangetiger70 pointed out, Dabo's boys have great hands.
Dabo made a great call, at a critical time to switch it up.
