TL in the TA&M game

Was looking at stats that David Hale posted regarding drive-by-drive performance for KB vs TL. What do you think the problem was at A&M? His first drive, clearly awesome. The rest - punts. It was just our 2nd game, so I'm thinking part of it was not really knowing exactly what types of plays to call for the team when he's the QB, where we knew what to call with KB.
He clearly blew the GT game wide open, so I'm thinking the OC's put together some play calls that work to his strengths and maximize the offense while he's in.
Thoughts?

I think there was that one pass on one of the punts he threw to the outside and near the 1st down marker that was really good pass and catch but just came up short.

Well one of his drives was done in by a botched snap that wasn’t his fault while another was done in by calling QB power on 3rd and 1 for some reason.

Well we got behind on down/distance a couple drives:

1. we had a motion penalty that put us in 1st and 15 deep in our territory
2. another drive started with a bad snap/timing resulting in a fumble and poor field position
3. another in the first half a receiver drops a 3rd down pass that should have been 1st down.
Lots of errors that aren't necessarily TL's fault, though I realize you have to play through that sometimes - it's probably tougher for a freshman in his first tough environment. He'll get to the point where he can play through mistakes but it'll take a little more experience.

The playcalling for Lawrence that game was awful. Bubble screens and qb runs.

it could have been the fact that is was his second college game EVER playing in front the fourth largest crowd EVER on record at one of the biggest college stadiums in the country.
sooo...yeah he could have had some nerves.
oh and his first drive was litterally one throw to tee and boom tee did the rest.
