I was hoping we would run a few trick plays and get the offense going. Having DJ limp on and off the field was absolutely brilliant.

Yes, Allen sold it well and I'm hoping it was good recognition or coaching that DJ saw #11 take the bait... I would hope that if DJ saw 11 coming at him that he'd popped it to Allen right quick because all he had on him close was a corner. Good play and execution. Ship's block was stellar.

54 (trotter) doing a nice job pulling, playing fast to get a nice block with Allen. Good design, and DJ was able to beat the Louisville backer to the spot. 54 made that play go though.

It didn’t hurt we caught them in a line stunt. Their right DL was crashing hard toward the center while there other DL was looping around. We called the perfect play against that defense.

When DJ's running hard he reminds me of Tajh Boyd (albeit a slow-motion Boyd). I'd love to see them develop that as a weapon. That was one of Boyd's greatest assets--when it was third and 5-or-less, everyone in the stadium knew Boyd was probably going to run it, and yet nobody could stop him.
