basketball ignorant posters on Tigernet would give themselves a lot more validity if they'd continue with the anti-Brownell, anti-Clemson basketball mulemuffins after a win as much as they enjoy being poor fans after a loss

They have no validity. Whine and complain, Probably without even watching games. Disappear when they look online and see it was a W. Show up when they look online and see we lost.

It's become too repetitive at this point to continue posting about it.....

For example someone today started a thread saying Brownell's style wasn't right for Clemson...
I posted that 6 years ago when he was hired and of course was flamed for it.

it was a good win today against

a winless BC team... I thought we played well and avoided a huge letdown. Good to enter the ACCT with some momentum.
That being said, I don't think a win against an 0-15 BC team excuses our inability to finish the season relatively strong after we were 7-3 in the ACC.
I hope we get on a roll and can win at least 3 in the ACCT

we all thought for sure you'd grace us with some more boring

pointless statistics comparing Purnell and Brownell, Snowtown/Xamount of previous handles,....for example, how Brownell just surpassed the number of 10 win conference seasons that Purnell had---its meaningless, of course, but we thought that might entice a new spate of statistic posts
and you say you hope the Tigers get on a roll, but that might mean Coach Brownell would get to coach next season in LJ....and judging by the incredible number of posts you've made on the topic, you'll excuse us if we don't believe you wish good things for either the Coach or the Basketball Tigers

remotely sounded like I didn't want the Tigers to win or do well
you're crazy
I've only used Purnell's record when people want to start throwing excuses for us not making the NCAAT the last 5 years.
Conversely, you will find several posts where I say I like BB, and I want him to win here, and I hope we go on a historic run... Unless that happens, then yes, I think it is time to move in a different direction.
go ahead and post the links
i'll wait

if you think I'd waste one second of my time reposting any of your garbage, you're sadly mistaken.
lmao at you trying to backtrack after a win and convince us you support our current coaching staff....you should really lay off the psychedelics so early in the day.....
what a loser

Brad Brownell is a great guy and i'm sure he's a great father, husband, and all around good for Clemson. I think he is a pretty good coach too.
However, if you think I'll come on here and blow rainbows and sunshine after missing the NCAAT for the 5th year in a row, you're crazy. There are no numbers, stats, records, etc... that can be thrown out there to show BB has gotten the job done. Zero.
That's not personal. That's just the truth.
Everyone wants to excuse that fact, but when the facts about other coaches are used to prove it can be done, it turns into personal attacks.
That's fine and all... and I hope BB rallies us, we win the ACCT, and he gets a lifetime contract (if that happens)...
but don't kid yourself into thinking this "self-righteous" bit about a guy that has clearly not taken the next step is anything short of insane.

Conversely. Do the pumpers only come out after a win

over an 0-15 BC team? Glad we won but I don't think anyone should be beating their chest. Who cares anyways? We are beating the coots in baseball right now. Way more important.
