Imagine how upset USC must be. They were ranked ahead of Ohio State and dropped out of the top 4 and behind 3 teams who didn’t even play yesterday. Utah beat USC in the regular season and had Utah been in the same division as USC and Utah only had 1 conference loss then USC wouldn’t have made the PAC 12 title game and USC probably ends up making the playoffs.

On the flip side, if Michigan and Ohio State were in opposite divisions then they would’ve had a rematch in the B10 title game and Ohio State most likely losses that game and missed the CFP.

I see 2 teams that deserved it, Georgia and Michigan, and then the attempt to gauge the "best of the rest."

It's hard to argue with 2 one loss teams.

Yes, this time there was an advantage for OSU because USC lost, but they were waiting and hoping while USC controlled their own destiny.

I don't have a problem with the 4 teams and anything after those 4 is kind of meaningless.

Yes, if we hadn't lost to SC, we would have been in and not OSU.

Boo lied. Kirby knows darn well he would rather play

TCU then Ohio State. There was never going to be a rematch in the semi’s.
