How to get hard copy of ticket

Jan 8, 2016, 10:24 AM

I purchased an electronic download ticket on Stubhub and was wondering if there was any way to get the Commemorative hard copy of it after the game? I know IPTAY is doing that, and this is in the Clemson section, but obviously would be going to the original purchaser. Any advice or experience for those in my situation, or are we just SOL?

I'm not that familiar with stubhub; do you have a way to contact the person you're getting the ticket from?

Barring that, I'd call up iptay, explain the situation, and if that person never collects their ticket you may be able to get it from them after the game is over and they bring everything home to clemson.
My guess is that you're SoL. I tried to get a couple ticket stubs from this year and was basically told I'd have to pay face value for just the stub, even after the game was over.

Good luck!

Thanks man! Probably not a bad idea to at least try with IPTAY. My other thought is to just offer an Alabama fan a beer or $10 in the parking lot for theirs after we beat them. Having won 3 in the past 7 years, I highly doubt they'd bother keeping a stub for a Championship they didn't win. Would just need to make sure I approached them the right way, lol.

Keep looking on Ebay. I was able to buy 4 original tickets for the semi-final game against Oklahoma a week before the game. They were tickets that had been sent electronically to other people. My ticket would not admit me into the game but it was a mint original ticket that I could keep. They were selling for $5 each before the game and they are sell for $25 each now.
I'm waiting for Championship game tickets to be sold very soon.

There were stubs for the OB sold on eBay and looks like there will be similar ones sold for the NC...here is one but there are probably others: http://www.ebay.com/itm/national-championship-college-football-playoff-ticket-stub-2016-souvenir-only-/262224202076
