Is there anyway to get out of the Nike contract?

Then allow Nike, UA, Adidas, etc.to enter a bid war for the right to supply Clemson athletics. The same Clemson that has won 3 straight bowl games over major opponents and has had 4 straight 10+ win seasons, our brand is on fire right now and Nike is not paying us what we are worth to them.

I never like any of their designs or schemes on fan gear.
UA is nice, but I prefer Nike.

We would more than likely remain very traditional because of Dabo. per Wisconsin and Nebraska which are both adidas schools.

I know their old strength coach (left for Penn State and now with the Texans) was good friends and/or college roommates with the founder, but I didn't know any of their boosters had connections.

There are three legal ways to end a contract.
Jan 9, 2015, 11:07 AM
|
|
Fulfill the contract, amend the contract or negotiate to end the contract. It's also possible to prove that you can't fulfill a contract in court but unless someone signs a contract to jump a building or swim the ocean I wouldn't plan on getting a judge to buy into it. It's usually too expensive to try.

You seem to be very familiar with the financial situation, in which case I feel like you should know whether or not we can get out of the contract.

I don't have a clue what Nike is paying us. Does anybody? If you do, it would be helpful to also show what other schools are getting from Nike/UA/Adidas.
