Nt a chance. Texas is tired of losing to Oklahoma. They're going to hire a proven winner with Head Coaching experience.

If anything he might take the OC job. tu has the biggest budget in all of college football. They simply will select someone with no HC experience. They will poach from another BCS school.

If they get turned down by their first 3 choices.

Oct 15, 2012, 12:06 PM

Morris is just a few years removed from high school and has no head coaching experience. Their AD isn't going to stake his job on a guy like that.

TAMU

Oct 15, 2012, 12:07 PM

The Chad is an A&M Grad so he probably doesn't think too highly of TU.

So, no. Chad Morris would never take a job to coach Texas nor is Mack Brown ever going to get fired.

The only HC job he would 'look' at is TAMU and Sumlin is doing a great job there so this is a pointless conversation.

Chad is perfectly content at CU. He is building a new house in Clemson and making $1.3 Mil in a relatively low cost of living area. He wants to be the key player in bringing a NC to the Tigers.

According to several sources, including the recruit, Chad has promised Deshawn Watson he will be at Clemson until Watson graduates or goes to the NFL. I believe Chad is a man of his word.
