Ranked 8th or less in the ACC standings.

The ACC is currently ranked last of the major conferences according to KenPom and next to last according to NET.

And there is nothing we nothing we can do about that. You just play the games on the schedule and it can't be changed. Of the Top 7 teams, Pitt only plays 1 game against another Top 7 so according to numbers, they should win the league. Is Pitt the best team? Stay tuned for the ACC Tournament.

Yeah, imo t h e regular season champ won't be left out, even if they're one and done in the tournament.

Yes. Finishing first would deliver us an auto-bid to the NIT if we failed to make the NCAA.

Big 10 probably sends 9, maybe 10 teams... acc may only send 5 this year. Possibly 6 depending on what wake does this month. Imo, it could hinge on the tournament. But, good thing is we control our destiny. To do that, we have to reverse the stat you cited above.

It was / is a very bad loss. I never would have guessed we would turn it around and play so so much better.
