Is "stuff" the most overused annoying word in sports media?

He had good "stuff" tonight! He didn't have his best "stuff" tonight. Another reason football is a better sport than baseball and basketball is that football people don't ever use the word "stuff".

include nail files, foreign substances on the glove or hat like sunblock, pine tar, grease, spit, sandpaper, and the list goes on and on.

So, when a pitcher has his best "stuff", it probably means he has successfully circumvented the rules.

No. Score The Basketball is by far the most annoying and stupid term I have ever heard associated with any sport. Please tell me how you can score any other way without a basketball. Scoring the basketball means cutting the skin with some object.
