Is Saban for coaches like ND is to football in college

Feb 13, 2014, 9:40 PM

football

ND gets most everything they want. They qualify for the playoffs and not have to play in a conf. They get into the ACC as a part time team and still gets to keep their TV rights and play who they want to play to help insure X-numbers of wins most year and ALL THE UNIVERSITIES LETS THEM GET BY WITH THAT.

Now Saban, gets his ### beat the last 2 games this year, losing to A&M last year and most of those teams running a HUNH offense and now he goes crying about getting the rules changed so slow down teams. Claiming injuries. I'm like some of the coaches, show the data on the injuries.

Why is ok to rush 7,8,9 and injury the QB or OL but it's not ok to run his defense until they can't keep up?

In one article one coach from the sEC said it would probably cause more injuries to the OLmen having to play fresh DL each down when they are tired.

The only injuries we see are the fake one, LSU, UGA, and others just falling down faking to slow down teams.

Each coachum up or get your players in shape to play the wideopen game today.

Why does Saban expect everyone to play his style of offense. He would rather go crying about it than change as if he's the God of college football and everyone should listen to him and allow him to have his way.

I guaranty you that ND did not hold a gun to any president or AD of any ACC school. The presidents and AD's of the various ACC schools obviously thought it was to their advantage to invite ND. BTW, the Big 12 was ready to make the same offer.
As for ND being eligible for the playoffs and not have to play in a conference, so what? Clemson played in a BCS bowl this year and did not win the ACC. What's the big deal? Say ND goes 12-0. Should ND be excluded because ND is not a member of a conference?
