Is Norvell safe regardless of how bad it gets this season?

Amazing he went from undefeated regular season, ACC Champs, considered replacement for Saban.... to the absolute drizzling ####s. UGA broke him and that lockerroom. I don't see how he regains it.

I would have said so two weeks ago, but this is looking pretty bad. When you have something like four defensive offsides on a drive, that suggests something really bad is happening with team chemistry.

Maybe, might depend on buyout. Don't know how much he can build a program depending on who he brings in the portal each year. I would say he has at least one more season.

It’s the biggest setback I’ve ever seen from one season to another. Seems he has no confidence and has completely lost this team.
You learn a lot when someone faces adversity. Norvell has not passed this test of adversity and just a shell of a coach.
Seems to be a nice guy, but FSU can’t feel good about their future with him leading the way.

Yes. FSU doesn't have the money to buy him out even if they wanted to.

As BretFSU said, there are 60 million reasons why Norvell stays after this year!

Good question might be who wants to coach that team given the current affairs...too much to handle ...Saban for a bundle, Meyer, why do that to anyone...maybe the cat with the paperback getting some sun wants the job!

The more I watch the more I see his recruiting and coaching being exposed. He's in over his head.

I said it before the game was ever played should have boycotted the bowl game against UGA and it would have been justified
but instead played 4th string while UGA ran it up by 60, and yes they have never recovered.
i dont care whats happend to them for the covid cancel 30 minutes before the game.

ACC Jim Phillips must be laughing his a$$ off after the way FSU behaved in trying to leave the ACC.

No one is safe. Norvell isn’t a bad coach. He has had some bad breaks. He needs to win his team back like Dabo did last year after we lost four!

Just another example that you cannot do a massive reload each year from the portal and expect team chemistry, etc. Makes zero sense.

1) looking more and more like Norvell is building a team (a season) and not a program. Sorta like Primetime.
2) he destroyed the team when he spent two weeks at the end of last season complaining about them being snubbed. Instead of accepting it, take it like a man, look to the future and move to the next challenge, the game against UGA, he spent two weeks telling his team that they were victims. Telling his team that they were cheated out of an opportunity. he told them it’s OK opt out against UGA because it wasn’t the natty. As an FSU player, Norvell only needs your commitment when it’s a big game.
He’s built a horrible culture that I don’t believe can be repaired.
